Open House London 2025

28.08.25

Once again Pollard Thomas Edwards will open its studios at Diespeker Wharf for the annual Open House Festival on Saturday 20 September.

Open House Festival is a London-wide festival that opens up and celebrates the city’s architecture, special sites and neighbourhoods, with open days and events taking place across all 33 London boroughs.

Pollard Thomas Edwards has been based at Diespeker Wharf since 1992. Originally a Victorian warehouse, the building later operated as a terrazzo factory before being converted to offices. It now provides workspace, a garden, and a glazed extension overlooking the canal. A retrofit completed in 2022 upgraded the building to contemporary standards. Also on Saturday 20 September, PTE colleague Rory Olcayto - writer, critic, and former Chief Executive of Open House - will lead a tour of Walter Tull House, organised by Haringey Council as part of Tottenham Hale & Placemaking Together. More details: programme.openhouse.org.uk/listings/12709.

Walter Tull House provides 131 council-rent homes and a health centre with more than 40 GPs. Named after Spurs’ first Black footballer, it is one of seven buildings within the Heart of Hale masterplan by Related Argent and the London Borough of Haringey. On completion in 2026, the built-out masterplan will deliver over 1,000 homes, along with restaurants, shops, cafés and flexible workspaces.
